Hi I'm Martin from east Yorkshire, found the forum while researching info for my new challenge. I've laid my hands on a 1952 Leyland Martian and having never done anything on this scale before I'm hoping some people may share there wisdom. I'm not a complete novice, I have restored a few cars but this is a whole new level.

thanks for the replies, its defiantly a huge thing but from what I can see its mainly complete an original apart from the rear roof section but I quite like it so think it'll stay for now.

I'll take a trip to the shops sharky an stock up on tea an biscuits coz I'm sure I'll need help somewhere lol

I'll start a thread an get some more pics up, should it be in Artillery & Anti-Tank Weapons or Transporters & Wreckers ( home of the big ones )

I always class a 'Practical Classic' as can you get it into a Tesco car park and put the shopping in. In your case.... you could get that into Tesco's. :-D Add a whole new dimension to scan and shop.
