Tony B
OK. I admire the commitment, but what was it? :-D
monty2
OK. I admire the commitment, but what was it? :-D It was a humber heavy utility one of 120 made for cold weather conditions. What it means is unclear but clearly not good enough to last the norway winters :-( Edited September 12, 2016 by monty2
Tony B
Oh nice. If it was in Norway, very close to the USSR, it may have a very interesting history. A number of those vehicles post war were used for radio interceptors.
Richard Farrant
I notice it appears to have US Military Junior oil filter on the engine. Might have been used by the Norwegian army, they had a lot of British kit after the war. If like the Danes, they improvised for parts, as my QL had a similar filter fitted when in Danish army service.

monty2
Yes you do need some paper work to be sure. With this one we didn't. I understand from people in Norway not many do arrange papers. No papers could mean trouble, so best if you spend money to get papers Any problems with customs exporting from Norway? monty2
some initiale clean to begin with basic cleaning with airline to see what we got on the end notice the ki-gas priming pump on the dash. Probably part of the cold weather outfit only 120 made didn't pay much and if engine is oke it was a very good buy, we will see soon. amazing the state of the chase it self after so many year in the rain and snow.
