morrisc8gs
I’d be interested in a contract plate if it is not too late. Thanks
welbike
Just in time I guess, but it will not be very cheap, as I first had to make the blank plates with the raised lettering, and now have them engraved with these special contract details, there were 4 (bigger) contracts, so please let me know which one you need? the one posted above is the first contract, if unsure PM me with your frame number, but I think to keep it easy I will not do more than 2 contracts at this moment. Or you can have the engraving done yourself, but it's a special font ofcourse. Lex Edited September 9, 2021 by welbike

The switch panel still has the original service brown. I had the frame powder coated, the closest they could match was RAL 8028. My brother used to own, and restored, frame number 728. Not sure who owns it now. Tom, Just read this again, and I recently acquired ML758 from Scotland, could that have been your brothers? or are you sure about the number ML728? Just trying to find out about the history on my bike. Cheers, Lex Edited July 21, 2023 by welbike

It had full length mudguards when my brother sold it.
welbike
OK, thanks Tom, but it's probably another one, as this has been together most of it's life, all was a bit rusty! Cheers, Lex

Ron
Translated. Ron Hello, yes I replaced the tires which were much too old, it was equipped with Hutchinson Cord... the original color of the rims is clearly visible having remained in the shelter, a little darker than the one I applied now 25 years old when I discovered this machine
welbike
Yes, I translated it too, but forgot to post it, thanks Ron, Seems the brown for the ML's wasn't all that uniform, my NOS parts, footrest hangers and a tank, and some more parts, differ all a little bit, so I wouldn't worry about it.
