lightweight
Thanks very much - was really pleased with the paint job, it's like having a new vehicle! Have also painted my Sankey to match, looks fantastic all hooked up

Gareth Coe
Looks really good. Sand is THE colour for Airportables these days (right Ian? ;-) ) Are those new door-tops?

Rick W
Much better in sand! I need a stencil or something for the ambulance, its got a load of what seem to be weight markings on the doors, any ideas?
sirhc
Rick, You can get a stencil for the weight markings from C&S Tat. Look on the EMLRA website. Chris
lightweight
Much better in sand! Am beginning to regret the desert paint scheme - ever since I did it, it's done nothing but rain! Stripped it down today, leaving the roof and doors at home ( :banghead:) and went off to a friends cub scout group to show it off (at his request). Just as we finished we had the most spectacular thunderstorm I can remember and the heavens opened. It's currently outside swathed in tarpaulins. Hopefully it will dry out tomorrow so I can put it back together!
rambo1969
I had one of my lightwieghts in sand and it was my favorite colour.
Snapper
Looks great. If I ever go down the LR route, this is the beast. Infact as soon as the Barnes funds are topped up to a decent level in the next year/eighteen months - the Iltis will go and I will try something else. A lighweight is a possibility, along with a Weapons Carrier, MUTT, a DAF 128 or any of the PW Volvos. Depends how much SWMBOAAC allows me to spend (once I've paid her back for the Iltis). lightweight
Here's the proof - as it should be driven (and about 20 minutes before one of the most impressive thunderstorms I can remember. Had to drive it home like this!) http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/lightweight0_3/000_0134.jpg[/img]
