Pzkpfw-e
I've heard of flying classrooms! Sherpa 360, was on display at the ex-museum at RAF Millom, no in a school playground at Colwick, near Nottingham.

Tony B
My ex's first flight was from Stanstead to Jersey. She kept looking at every type of aircraft such as F27's and 737's saying 'is that the type we are going on?' Then we walked out and the Antanov was on the pavement, she looked at it and said 'not that one is it?' I just said no, then we walked behind the Antanov , and the Short 360 was there. Her face, priceless! STOL capability, and proved it.
GeePig
Reminds me of the aircraft converted to restaurants in parks in former soviet countries. There used to be one here, in Lublin, Poland, my wife tells me. trevor
RecyMech
Apparently, (if I understood the text on the information board correctly) the Sunderland flying boat at Duxford used to be a floating night club ! Rock'n'roll !! H
