It's looking very possible the rapier will be up and running in a very short time , the engine is cranking and we have found the gearbox oil pipe that is leaking . The Ferrets painted and running , now ready for markings and CES to go on, rapier all freshened up, Frog (CET) POLd and Woking hard. We we have started to move kit over to the show field from our store hangers . Here is a 1922 Russian canon on the move across the airfield. But there are plenty of other routes in and out of Norfolk , a good route is to get on the Bury st Edmunds to Thetford road , that is actually a better route for old MVs . I nice large arena ( the Ferret was in top going around it) . Moved loads more vehicles over , it was great fun driving the James Bond T55 trough the Norfolk country side across fields and old runways . The 2S1 drove really well . Now we have lots of happy campers, little camps fires , glowing lamps etc , the odd vehicle driving around site. We have several forum members here , so thanks guys for turning up.
