got part of crane and some other little bits in green today we have chosen a matt olive drab type of green than the more original deep bronze green.

Those crane frames have so many surfaces to paint they are like a big puzzle aint they ? Coming along nicely ! Another one that'll be finished before mine !:blush::blush::blush::-D

Hi guys we went up to Newcastle today

to look at a new toy. So we have bought

another Scammell pioneer sv/2s. It says 1942

on the crane so I think it's a 42 but has the rare

large dash board fitted wich is nice, it is in slightly

better condition than ours but will need

a complete restoration, someone has blasted and

painted the front end but it's not a good finish

its very original wich is good the cab needs little work

but the rear body is pretty rotton. Also the.

Govoner control arm is brOken as it Dos not spring back out when you press

the cold start button and when you rev it hard and let it go back to idle

it cuts out unless you pull the govoner arm back. I will post photos tonight
