oddball
With a little help from Clive. http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a62/timgarrett/hmvf.jpg[/img]
ian2b
My vote goes to Oddball and Clive but i think it could do with some colour on the HMVF to make it standout better.
fv1609
With a little help from Clive. Yes I'll go along with that. My one was too tall & disjointed needed some integration of the bits which you have done. The background needs a lighter green perhaps. Now for the contoversial bit. How green ie What green? I would favour BSC 224 Deep Bronze Green, which of course signifies British 1950s-60s. For a later period others might prefer NATO IRR Green. Or should it be OD but which one? But I suppose when you look at online colour charts never really look like the colour they are meant to represent & then it all depends on the settings on the monitor, mine is adjust so everything looks DBG, no not really :-D BTW the spanners are military, courtesy of RAC Training Manual. 79x100
:-)Don't combination spanners give it a rather post-war feel ? And shouldn't there be a canvas bucket dangling somewhere ? Rich.
ian2b
How about this - will leave it for the experts to do it properly http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i272/ian2b/hmvfcolour.jpg[/img]

oddball
Now for the contoversial bit. How green ie What green? I just picked a green from a picture of Jacks truck, thought it might keep him quiet. BTW the spanners are military, courtesy of RAC Training Manual. Thats ok then, I used to work for the other side

ian2b
Back ground is much better now but still think the name needs to standout more. Brighter Green

ian2b
Hi Jack and Oddball, When this logo is complete is there any chance there can be a download link on here so members can print it off to display in there MV's and also is there a way members can add there user id to it before the download or printing it off. Have added an example. http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i272/ian2b/hmvf-colourwithname.jpg[/img] http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i272/ian2b/hmvf-colourwithnamered.jpg[/img]

Mark
I think which ever logo is used it needs to include the web address

ArtistsRifles
I like the version above. One reservation though - should not the wheel rim be a contrasting colour to the text AND the tyre - say a stone colour????
oddball
I'm trying to limit the colours as much as poss otherwise it may become too "busy" & tricky to tell what it is. Plus when it comes to having it printed on mugs, t shirts etc more colours equals more money :-(
Mark
Yes I like that Oddball, but those spanners look metric to me, I think we should have a couple of King Dicks on there for posperity
