  1. imagine ihat on british railways. It would be passing through 3 stations at once, going that slow how many vehicles would be on bricks with no wheels by journeys end

First rode in a Fordson wot6 workshop when I was about 4 years old, this belonged to my neighbour who used it for mobile repairs on tractors ect. so went cross country to anywhere it was needed. never rode in front was always locked in the back in the dark, must have been late 50's. Met up with it again when i got it for a friend to restore in about 1998. About 10 years after leaving army my first rally vehicle was a Leyland Martian.

  7. I own a bedford rl ambulance but it is an ex afs hoselayer converted by Heathrow airport for use as a major trauma unit. When I got it it still had blues and twos also working emergency radios, a coachbuilt sign on the cab and heaters in the cab and rear. It is now a replica Royal Engineers bomb disposal truck. see my profile gallery.

  10. Best thing to do is jion the MVT military vehicle trust and attend a local meeting. Meet others going to local shows and they will guide you, also good to have someone to help if you get any problems. You might also help someone else.

  20. The front two are same as mine. Don't know how they rode them off road, Bl##dy hard enough on road, no starter or clutch and it brakes just . I suppose they knew no different.
