  2. But fires spread upwards towards the operating mechinism. also may take ages to evacuate a building with more than a few on each floor .
  3. I meant this vehicle. I had dealings with one a couple of years ago with a bedford diesel and air assissed brakes looked like that one.

  5. I am selling a ARIEL WN/G on e bay item no 280647220802 thats got girders . not ridden it more than a few hundred yards but legend has it it was a very capable bike.

  7. The wartime 350 ohv bikes seem more powerfull than the 500 sv. I think the bsa m20 is nicer than the 16h. I have had most of the british wartime bikes the easiest to live with every day is the Matchless g3l
  8. QL has no phopher bronze so ep ok. my old retriever with worm axle used straight 140 like liquid grease.

  15. About 15 years ago I was awarded the wilkinson sword, as I did not go to the MVT agm the handover was at the local meeting at Northamton TA centre. I was given the sword by the CSM who was a lance corperal in my platoon in 4 Fd Wksp in Germany about 1974.

  17. In the background of picture 6 the DAF ya126 ambulance and Bedford-Scammell oxc arctic were both mine and the Foden LMLC belonged to my mate Branko. All sold on now. Where was it taken?
