  10. They never did that lot in three days! The good thing Time Team do do is come up with the money. Though there is a lot of back room reports and conservation done. The on screen bit is the glossy tourist tat. Though anything that may encourage a genuine intrest in the period , we shouldn't really sniff at.
  11. Leven's particular expertise did not go to waste. He joined the Petroleum Warfare Department in WW2. Amongst other things he worked on the Fougase.

  16. I hope you did any work required on the brake master, before the engine went back in. :cool2:
  17. There sems to be something attractive about 101 to various wildlfie. I used to have birds go under the front and nest on top of the oil cooler!

  19. Well with twins you have the perfect opertunity to buy a Dodge WC51! Plenty of room for two parents two carry cots, two push chairs, economy size nappy bag, and when they get older. Mesh around the back and a good stout lock! :-D
  20. VACTAN : MOD approved, water based , easy to use, very economical a little goes a very long way, and also primes the metal. http://www.paco-systems.co.uk/vactan.html I was lucky enough to be given 50 litres of the stuff. 2 litres is more than enough for a LWB Land Rover chassis. Great stuff easy to apply by brush, or even just a gerden hand spyayer or empty winw cleaner spry bottle.
