  1. Welcome David. What sort of thing do you ilustrate?
  2. The other one used to be FOFAD F OFF Fire at Donnington!
  3. Thanks, hopefully get somewhere along to see you! Found the ideal place! The Monty Cafe at Coulsdon, they do a good breackfast as well!
  4. I'd suggest using a non detegent cleaner. My old refrain, the Nikwax range have various cleaners for down and Gortex type fabrics. If you do decide to use a detergent, hand wash and, add a dash of vegtable oil. That is an old trick used to wash the original 'JERSEY' oiled wool seaman's sweaters. It stops the fabric drying out to much. Start with lukewarm water. To hot and you can set the stains.
  5. Whats the route of the Brighton run?
  6. Very Happy Easter, nice run out in the Dodge to clear the cobwebs.
  7. Welcome Stefano, there are many modllers here.
  8. Is that the ZB30? The only pictures I have show a ribbed barrel. (Strength and cooling)
  9. Nice to see her behind. How is she driving now?
  10. Says her, whose ones are old enough to drive up the stairs with a broom! :-D
  11. They were fitted with a door stop back at the dawn of time.
  12. Yeah but yoy don't know what he was thinking!! :cool2: Jump forward about 18 years........ 'Dad my car broke! I'll just leave you the keys so you can fix it, and I'll take yours'. :-D
  13. Before pulling anything apart! try adjusting the brakes up. If they are worn that can give the same symptoms.
  14. I must say since getting an external HD the uses multiply. When I'm at events and take photos they go straight onto the external drive, keps the laptop clear of stuff and working a lot faster.
  15. That's the joy of a half moon wrench! :-D Managed the entire job with out removing the skid plates. They were an end of line Halford's Proffesional set. Best twenty quid I've spent in a long time.
  16. What about vinegar? I've seen that used to artifically age metal. Boil and paint on while hot. The Non Brewed Condiment variety is the choice.
  17. DO NOT FORGET to get new copper sealing washers ! They go between the junction blocks on the back of the plate and the wheel cylinder. I found a half moon 14 mm ratchet spanner the best tool to replace the master .
  18. In MY Day, 32kb and tape cassettes were considered good enough! :-D Now its into Terrabytes!
  19. Modern ones are just plug and play. I use one to store all my photos and archives. Keeps the main drive cleanear and the computer faster. I have also started using AVG PC tune up. That has really perked things up.
  20. As my Mother used to dsay, 'England , Scotland, Wales and Monmouthshire'. Welcome in.
  21. If you've ever seen how Coke is made, the last thing you'd do is drink it! :red:
  22. This place did some good work on a Friend's gauge. http://www.gauges-online.com/
