    We were next to that party. Seeing as it was the last night,we joined them.

    I only saw one type flying that was doing the pleasure flights. And that was the Bell Jet Ranger. Which only has one engine. I saw an older petrol powered Bell fly in on the saturday evening. That only has one engine as well.

    I did. Plenty of them. The security for around the beer tent this year was appalling. Last year there was proper fencing all the way round,and you had to display your wrist band on entry. This year that all went out the window. No checking of wrist bands,and the fellas that were manning the entry were a joke. All and sundry were walking in,including the local pikey inhabitants. There were fights on a nightly basis. Either in the beer tent area or in the living history field.

    Well i came over to the BBQ. Said hello to CW and PW and had a chat with Grasshopper. I had mates with me,so thought it might be taking the p**s to bring them in. As for the photo shoot. Saw the vehicles going down to the arena. bUt was just heading to bed for a couple of hours after a long night.

    The gales had near enough died down by the time i left. It made putting up the tents very interesting.

    I was told that the Jordanian Ferrets were running Toyota power plants???.

    I will be down setting up camp on Sunday.

    I will be passing by on my way to Yalding early in the morning. I will be laying the Ferret up for the next week until i get there on the following monday.

    Ive been using the 101 as convertable sports MV.......... The vettes been relegated the last few days. I had planned to water proof the hood. Which i have now done with a gallon of Thompsons brick seal. But seeing as we have had nice weather i have been using the 101 as my everyday motor to and from work. The school run,and trips to the shops. In true sports car style. I even managed to get pulled for speeding yesterday morning

    Thats what i used. Typed in some of the vehicles i wanted to look at,clicked go,and the formentioned page popped up.

    Some very nice pictures there. Just out of interest whats the cost in buying one of these,and maintainance?? How high are landing charges now??.

    Chris. When will your own site be up and running again??. I went on there to have a look at some of the other restorations, A page popped up saying "url not found"

    I would try Marltrax for parts. They had a load of parts for the M1008 and the M1009. You could even try some of the american breakers in "classic american" magazine. Rest assured that once up and running they will go on for ever. And you have the same lump as fitted to the Hummer:thumbsup:
