  1. Not long got back. A very nice turn out of vehicles, and all made a nice show on the off-road course. Nice to see some HMVF members there. Chris G, Nick Johns, and former forum member CW put in an appearance. Also good to see what possibly is the last flight of the Vickers Vimmy. It done a couple of low fly pasts then landed on the road through Mercedes world. Good day was had:thumbsup:
  2. This looks like an air cooled VW engine.
  3. I cant see why it doesnt end up as part of the BBMF. The cost could be offset with savings made on over run defence contracts that never materialise.
  4. How will they do that??. There is no runway left. Unless they intend on using the road that runs through Mercedes World to put it down on.
  5. Cyprus i believe. There was an arms embargo at the time due to the war.
  6. Your time between 83-2000 interests me a lot:thumbsup:
  7. This situation nearly happened some years ago by another well know MV dealer(who will remain nameless) with a shipment of Humber Pigs.
  8. A nice one came up for sale not long ago for just under £50,000. Remember the exotic car market has taken a battering like everything else. Jaguar XJ220, are being listed around £110,000 with very little miles. And that was a car that was £437,000 new.
  9. £40-£50,000 should see you in to a nice one:D:

  18. I see Chinooks and Apaches on a nightly basis from work located very near to the Thames. Most of the day flights i have seen end up at the HAC in city road.
  19. Its been a regular on the beltring scene for a few years. Would be nice to own one. But the lack of spares puts me off. Just a question. But why do people paint them in desert stone,as i believe none of them served in GW1 and most were supplemented to T.A. units at the time.

  21. It is infact a Cougar. By the looks of it they have just come in from the states. Mastiff is the British designation for it once it has been added with the added armour over here.
