  1. I'm near Glasgow, so not that far away from you. The Scammels are handsome beasts and must be fun to drive (If you didn't have to do it for a living I imagine)
  2. Welcome ;-) I saw one of these outside a TA hall in glasgow a couple of months ago (No idea what it was there for) I know a couple of the guys from the Scottish Military Vehicle Group have Bedfords, so it might be worth contacting them. http://www.scottishmvg.org/1.html (I am a SMVG member but know virtually nothing about trucks)
  3. We can reduce our chances of accidents but we can never completely eliminate them. Hope the guys recover.
  4. If I remember correctly. 1986 entered service. They were made by NP Aerospace. They are ballistic nylon and were general issue.
  5. Sadly I think I wouldn't be able to sneak one of those into the house "Ohh this? I've had it for ages..."
  6. It was good to see you and the old girl at the swap meet.
  7. Nice :-) You could point out it is smaller and easier to store than the 101. Also the rariety "Honest dear, it's an investment"

    Stollen Welbike

Hope you get your money back or the sh*t arrested. (Not much chance of either though)
  9. Great pics ;-) Did you ever 'win' as opfor
  10. Our thoughts are with them.
  11. Well the insignia is of the Umbrella Corporation from the game and films "Resident Evil" Presumably the front has been modified in relation to that?
  12. Thanks for the info. Mmm It's giving me ideas >:->
  13. I attended the 07 and 08 events at the museum and had a great time. I remember the saracen. The museum staff spent most of the day trying to get it running. I think I have some photos of them working on it and some video of it running. I've also been to a BA stores weekend and thoroughly enjoyed that one too.

Congratulations ;-) So when are you getting her a pair of overalls and a paint brush?
  15. I'm currently looking for somewhere in the Glasgow area myself but I know some of the SMVG guys store their kit near Dumbarton (ish)
