  1. I agree, Monday and Tuesday are the best days, it's quieter and more relaxed.
  2. There's plenty to do Monday and Tuesday - most vehicles are on site and most stalls are open.
  3. I have a spare 1/2 turret with this mount missing... if anyone needs a 1/2 turret send me a PM! Chris
  4. I use standard car batteries, look on ebay for the ones with the older Ford style bolt through terminal.
  5. My top tip... Charles is your friend... http://www.numatic.co.uk/products4.aspx?id=27 Chris
  6. For a 1/35 scale Centurion? I think that may be a bit over the top!
  7. I am putting NOS wiring looms in my M151A2... it's not cheap, but at least you know it'll be right. No missing plugs, poor connections, corroded terminals, previous owner bodges etc! If you've got a new chassis, you might as well treat it to some new wires!

    Fake M1 Abrams

They look like Chieftains to me.
  9. And also quite irrelevant to someone in Australia!
  10. Yes Andy is right, sorry if it seemed a bit harsh - but it's difficult to know how to answer a question when you only have half the info! I can't really help with ww2 US colours, but in terms of paint suppliers, if you find something the colour you want then you can get matched paint made up pretty much anywhere, otherwise try the dealers on milweb. Chris
  11. I had a Mk 1 Widetrack with a rotating eye. I also have a Mk 3 manufactured by Viking.
  12. Try and get a copy of this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Chieftain-Rob-Griffin/dp/1861264380
  13. It would help if we knew what you were trying to paint?
  14. Hi Mal, We've got plenty of toys you'd recognise .. Fox, Ferret etc .. and not too far away either. Do you have any in service photos you could post? Chris
  15. Hi Matt, I have a copy of that - it's quite interesting, and some of those vehicles are still around. I'll have to have a look through my photos later and see if I can find any of them. Chris
  16. Plenty of Saxon engines for sale if you look in the right places... http://www.liquibiz.com/auction/view?id=4140619 Chris
  17. It's dated 2002... So can't possibly be Saracen!
  18. From my experience they charge you 20% of whatever the declared value is... but I've had heavy things shipped as a gift, and been charged 20% of the shipping. There's also an £8 handling fee each time, even if you only owe £1 in duty!
  19. Chris, It sounds like you are slipping the GCP. Remember you can not use it like a clutch. Once you have pressed it down, you must let it back up straight away. Chris
