  1. Never seen one actually marked as 'Chaplain' before.
  2. The logistics involved in the build of something this size and this complicated must be huge. Imagine how many miles of electrical cabling she must have too!
  3. This is just the type of MV project that we would like to start from. Our interest is in saving and preserving. Like I said, I was first told about this Guy many years back and also tried to find out its availabilty but with no success. I would love to preserve it.
  4. There seem to be plenty on ebay at the moment, I was surprised by the amount when I looked earlier today.

  7. With Ford's economy of manufacture you can imagine that V8's associated internals would all use common parts, military or civilian?

    HMS Barham

    HMS Barham is such a sad story, so many lives lost.

  18. I have visited the film company at Eton Wick, a lot of very interesting vehicles there.
  19. I have some photos of my Grandfather in North Africa around the same sort of time, I will scan them too. Very similar to these really, general snaps but a few with fleeting glimpses of trucks etc.
  20. Well, I would be mighty pleased if I could do that sort of work and get that finish.
  21. Yes, its in German hands. Presume it was one of the vehicles left after Dunkirk.
