Full story on the front page folks!!

Mr Fanthorpe said the clock belonged to a soldier despatched to the dictator's bunker after the fall of Berlin in 1945, whose wife refused to display it in her home and chose to sell it after her husband's death.

Hhhmmmmm found in FAKEham eh? i am sure old Adolph would never entertain a nice clock with a very non German looking eagle and no swastika to boot :??? ........... He may have been a somewhat CUCKOO but it don`t look right to me.

Just my thoughts we shall have to wait and see

Hi all,

an item of this design if found in the bunker was probably the property of Hermann Goring (successor to the `Red Baron`and CO of the flying circus in the 1WW). He would most likely impressed by a clock of this nature/rarity rather than an ex Corporal of the army in 1WW !

Or possibly another of the Flying types seeking refuge in bunker.
