Listed on it are the soldiers that died fighting for Hechtel. I've also added a then and now shot of the houses opposite the Sherman tank. Joris Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 Sherman tank outside Ede. The sign says: "On the 17th April 1945 Ede was liberated by the Canadian "Calgary" regiment with Sherman Tanks.
