Joris Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 I love those things, to me they are the best looking vehicles of WWII. If I ever get rich.... Luckily enough there are a M3 an M4 high speed tractor in Overloon so I'll soon be able to drool over them again. Quote

mcspool Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 For sale???? Don´t think so: it´s at the Wings of Liberation Museum http://www.jagdtiger.de/index2.htm?http://www.jagdtiger.de/USVeh/M4HST-01.htm I counted four M4 HST´s in Holland. One at the Wings of Liberation Museum, two at the General Marshall Museum, and one in the Royal Netherlands Army historical collection. HTH, Hanno Quote

chevpol Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 this one was taken in the early 90/s I think Mark:cool: Quote
Bodge Deep Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 They always look to me like something made from the leftovers of a few airfix models! Like 'em though!! Quote
Adrian Barrell Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Indeed, the closed cabs look very futuristic. Quote
Snapper Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 They always look to me like something made from the leftovers of a few airfix models!Like 'em though!! Not unlike the green tracked vehicle in Space 1999. Still have my Dinky example. The snaps of the tractors in the new Pearsons book are just stunning (as is the rest)...I remember one at Beltring a few years back. Think there was a Minitanks version. Sure there was. But I have to say I've always preferred the tractor Adrian has (happy memories of it in the Hop Farm arena - and have some great snaps somewhere) and I recall building the Hasegawa kit - 1/72nd scale - in the mid 70s. R Cubed Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Saw these two in Mons last year both ran in the convoys Quote

See, when you start counting a certain type of HMV, there's always more than you can imagine. Anyone wants to make a guess as to how many surviving Sherman tanks and related AFVs there are? - Hanno Quote
