Another one destined for Scotland? does it reside at Eastnor castle as although it says on the auction flyer that it is part of the Eastnor steam collection, there is nothing on their website about it. Minesweeper Posted November 20, 2010 Share Posted November 20, 2010 Interesting to read in Kivell's advert that the Steam Wagon now up for sale was part of the Alexis Dreye Collection in France - our 1917 Military Autocar was also part of the Alexis Dreye Collection and we understand that it only came back to England to be offered for sale at auction when M.Dreye died. Its privately owned by Dennis Brandt who bought it over from France many years ago. Its a lovely thing, rough as a dogs arse, probably just like how they were....... It failed to meet the reserve and was not sold on the day. I havn't heard that it has sold since. Steamers seem to be selling slowly if at all at the minuite.
