Degsy Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 No wings/mudguards so off road use, some sort of trailer?
Marmite!! Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Knowing Clive it must have a missile attached somewhere :-D
Richard Farrant Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Ah.....can see a bit more now. It is a double rear axle truck, the other axle articulated, probably over uneven surface. Wheels look to be civilian pattern, but with British tyres. Could be a WW2 GMC in British service?

Mark Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 All I have been able to find out is that they were a trial in the late 40's for extra grip on a GMC, I was looking for a piece on tracks fitted to trucks and this cam up, thought it was worth a try. Thanks Clive
