Handsome
Good evening gents/ladies my name is Paul Sidney and i am the unit commander of the South Wales Borderer's WW2 Re-enactment Group , i also own a Bren Gun Carrier I have been re-enacting for over 15 years now and once you buy all the kit, its time then to think about buying a vehicle to carry it in I did own a Chevrolet C60 but sold it about 3 years ago But last year i bought the Bren Gun Carrier Been working on her, took her to Beltring but she broke a spring and the rubber came off one of the wheels. But me and the boys enjoyed driving her around. We have now got all new springs for her and replacing the boggy one at a time. Hope to hear from some of the other Bren Gun carrier owners on here and to pick there brains. Will post a picture latter when i read up how to do it. Please go and have a look at the SWB`s website there are some good photos of the carrier http://www.re-enactmentww2swb.co.uk Thanks Paul

REME 245
I jointly own a Canadian Mk11* which I assume yours is? For what ever reason very few British manufactured Mk11's seem to have survived. You must have been thrashing your carrier to brake a spring, unless it was already on the way out. A few of us have recently had some repro front side screens made up. They are a bit expensive at £330.00 but let me know if you need a set. Handsome
No, she had been stood for a few years before we bought her. Got her ready for Beltring put her in the display and then discovered one of the springs was broken. But still took her out with the boys loaded on http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n235/abc4_01/beltring%2007/DSCI0070.jpg[/img] http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n235/abc4_01/beltring%2007/DSCI0060.jpg[/img] She is soon to be stripped down, All Brand New Springs going on and lots of small jobs to be done Paul
