ltwtbarmy Posted August 28, 2022 Share Posted August 28, 2022 (edited) AEC Matador, with 7.7 litre diesel engine, probably 1940 built, rebuilt by the REME (RD registration) post war and re registered in 1949 as 09RD16. There is a link to another Matador (chassis 0853145) from the same contract V3501 being restored on this forum, however this one has a petrol engine. If you scroll down the page you will see some information put by @wally duganregarding contract V3501 finishing in July 1940.
