cosrec
Bit of a heads up we recently got involved in moving a large number of old vehicles to an auctioneers in Goole. I did not go my self but one of the lads who went told me the above truck was in dirty but excellent condition. Let me know if any one needs more info
Rootes75
I had a look at the auction catalogue, quite a few interesting lots. The Bedford has a £5-8000 estimate.

Might be a bit optimistic? It looks quite sound, but it's battered in places and wants quite a lot doing, and the last couple of those sold didn't make fortunes. cosrec
Have you looked at it in person? I am only relaying drivers remarks.
ruxy
A Bedford tanker would be a bit more interesting on a showfield, added £ value I would say, hidden £ value - I don't think to potential bidders.
Richard Farrant
I recall working on one of these that had been in storage at Ashchurch. They were OL models of around 1950/51 and had the civilian bonnet and grill, so this one is a bit odd. In the auction blurb it says it was registered with a 5 litre engine, it should be a 3.5 litre. Most of these were very low mileage.
