Arnhem roadbridge area in 1944 and now

Compare the two pictures, the top one is the bridge before the battle for Arnhem but after the accidental bombing by the Americans. The top row of houses on the left have a gaping hole, that's where I live (they rebuild the house in the late 1940s)

 

The bottom one is the area as it is now, the change is baffeling....

Keep the photos together! Remember places change all the time. These are documents that will one day be history in their own right. Future archeologist's will bless you.
