Joris Posted July 24, 2007 Share Posted July 24, 2007 On saturday August 25th Jessie the Jeep will be in Arnhem and, funny enough, it falls on the same day as the first Dutch HMVF day! Who else is interesed in a drive around the countryside, a visit to the Deelen Air musuem, located on the edge of the former Germany Nightbase Deelen. Enigma Posted August 25, 2007 Share Posted August 25, 2007 Today we, Jessie the Jeep (Steve and Lynne), Joris and a friend of him plus me had our own little meeting in Arnhem. I got in Joris's Dodge. The weather was great! We went to a Museum at Deelen, Oosterbeek warcemetery and generally drove around. There are some rumours about a certain Dutch guy slipping while checking a mudpoole, didn't fall but was standing in the mud. Also a story about some other Dutch guy driving into a hedge because he was in 1st gear instead of the reverse gear. No rumours about the British guests but we'll make something up if nessecary... :whistle: It was a very enjoyable day!! Lynne and Steve are excellent company and many storys were exchanged...
