nz2
It does not fit the pattern of what we accept as correct. However what would be our reaction if it was identified as a prototype version, or as an option after market cab offered in the 1950's. Exchange the more recent wheels and tyres, the radio aerial, and free wheeling hubs and you have then a possible true to period of time functional winter vehicle! N.O.S.
Am I the only one who likes it (except for the tyres)? The cab bulkhead to bonnet joint is quite well executed.
ruxy
After the war - to keep the troops entertained , there were competitions on Jeep conversions for civvy applications , so aircraft bubble canopies etc. I suppose this Jruck or Treep could relate to stuff available on the scrap heap of time-line period. I tried to find the book to quote the several photographs , could not find - only one with a VW Transporter cab grafted on - in fact it looks very similar ,,
