Flathead V8 Bellhousing

Right then, evening people,

a question for some of you out there, I am fitting a 200tdi landrover engine to my WOT6 in place of the v8 as I bought the truck without an engine. Now I have a bellhousing to fit a Ford 4D engine to the WOT6 gearbox, but was there a similar thing used to fit the V8 to the gearbox? Just wondering as the 4D engine is somewhat bigger in size than a landrover so may be easier to make a V8 bellhousing fit the landrover engine if such a thing exists

Thanks

Hi Tom,

Having had an engine out of a WOT6 I can tell you that the flywheel housing on the V8 is integral, top half is part of the block and bottom half is part of the sump, if I recall.
