Having now made up my mind that i'm going to paint my 6 cylinder side valve Humber Engine BLACK as they were originally.
The engine has been rebuilt and stripped back to bear metal, should i prime it first with red oxide the black or just use the black synthetic paint, or just use satin black Hammerite straight on the metal ?
what i don't want is it peeling off when it gets hot.
