Maybe I used the wrong word? Jodphurs, perhaps, looks like a belt and buckle in the picture.

 

 

Not trousers of any sort. It is a belt & buckle. The illustration shows how it should be stored in the barracks. At kit inspection the soldier should hold this equipment over his right arm.

Kitchener died with all hands aboard HMS Hampshire steaming from Scapa flow to Russia when she hit a mine

It is quite a dive, along with the German fleet which I dived on in 2000.

Must be some confusion here...You didn't give me that info and I know he knows ALL that stuff about the fleet cus of a big diving trip they did to Scapa a few years back. Honest. :embarassed:

 

And if you had told me, and he didn't know the answer I wouldn't have told him....I would have posted it myself :evil:
