Item T smoking would help him relax maybe not sure they would be cigarettes in that period, pipes were the thing then for soldiers, going by pics of the time.......and I think they were often clay ones As for helping soldiers nutrition? The initial invasion was considered by Argentina as reoccupation of its own territory, and by Britain as an invasion of a British dependency.
