Jack
- I do wonder now if it was all worth it - theres nothing like a swift kick in the crackers to put a man down ! - It sort of leaves a nasty taste in your mouth when this amount of fuss is generated when only good intensions were intended - Andy Hey guys - Andy has been a member here for 3 years. Nice to see you here Andy. Now with regards to your comments above - a natural reaction but I will tell you one thing, it takes a lot of guts to stand your ground and be willing to listen to feedback publicly so well done you. 99% of folks will just shrink into the back ground cussing and spitting and be as ignorant as ever. Also, as Andy has mentioned he is there to help - I would be on his back day and night getting every bit of info out of him.... Now just keep rolling the ball down the field! Best wishes, Jack. recymech66
This thread seems to have become a pishing contest for who's raised the most money for H4H, I for one think this subject has run it's course.
mildot
This thread seems to have become a pishing contest for who's raised the most money for H4H, I for one think this subject has run it's course. Not at all. im just showing that you dont need a fake landy to raise lots of money for H4H. the thread started off mentioning the fake snatch, the owner claims he used it for fundraising for H4H and suddenly every one changes face and starts praising the fake snatch.... its still a fake regardless of what its used for! do you not agree. its great that he uses it for fundraising however it still a fake snatch (in my opinion a bad fake) but the thread was all about the fake snatch, so why change it all to "oh well done sir its a great vehicle..." that bit i dont understand. please dont take this as a personal attck etc as its not. i just cant see why people are now suddendly praising it. 79x100
There's nothing new in this. Did anyone see the thread on 'pre-war' ? http://hmvf.co.uk/forumvb/showthread.php?20350-Chinese-tank. What is the correct word for this type of project ? It's not strictly speaking a replica, nor is it entirely a fake. 'Look alike' ? 'Snatch tribute' seems to sum it up best. I'm not quite sure why you've deleted some of your "My c@ck is bigger than your c@ck" comments from your original post? The thread was starting to die down until you popped up with even more negative comments. Please don't take this as a personal attack, and well done for your fund raising achievements. I think the answer to that is quite clearly that the original question is now a mute point - the question/observation has been answered. Threads tend to go off topic and H4H looks like it is common ground for many - so a new topic is started within a topic. Hello mate. Where were you posted to in NI? The role of the Snatch that's in my picture was that of escort to the Tactica's with 321 EOD. I wasn't with EOD mate. My main job was with the Infantry on Patrols.

Rover8FFR
Hi Andy Well done and thank you for putting the record straight! I am sure every member of this forum supports and admires your efforts for these fine charities! Keep it up. Absolutely. It creates interest in our passion for military vehicles in all guises and the people thinking of putting money in the tins will be more intertested if there is a smart military vehicle there to attract the interest. Most people wouldn't know the difference between a genuine and replica Snatch and they are the people whose support you need. Keep up the fundraising. Your hard work and dedication is very much appreciated. At least you started with an military Landie and not a civi 110. Swift and Bold.
