  11. Are you lot out picking strange mushrooms again! Does Dorset really know what it has let itself in for? :-D
  12. Might be wear on the flywheel teeth. Have you done the obvious, check bolts and electrical contacts?
  13. When the cash is in your acount, then its sold. I had one muppet was expecting me to hold a vehicle for a month so he could come and see it. When I sold it he threatened to take me to court for brech of contract. Eh, OK if that's how you feel see you in court. That was the polite answer.
  14. That type of gun got about. The brech loading type were used on HMS Warrior and black Prince, and as said breech and RML (Rifled Muzzle Loader) for costal mounts. Two brech loaders are on the Cenotaph in St Helier Jersey, so guess how I recognised the type? :-D The Armstrong of this type were constructed of a number of tubes, the main being steel then wrought iron shrunk on. Armstrong made breech loaders, but reverted to muzzle loaders as the Britsh Goverment of the time decided muzzle loaders were cheaper. Sound familiar? So the muzzle loader you have in Norway may be later than most of the breech loaders.
  15. If it the big ration one, yeah, that's the sort of price. Says the smug owner of two of the carrier packs, thanks to a Forum member. :-D
  16. OHH GOODY!!! I've got 1944 and 1945 dated ones! And a number of 1950's if anyone has a vehicle that date, there welcome to them.
