  1. Someone with photoshop experience to get rid of the wire fence and clean the details a bit.
  2. My rust killer of choice is a stuff called Vactan. Water base, easy and economic to use. Doesent mark any paintwork left. If you want to leave the holes 'Authentic' either hem round the tare or that joy of joys Wonder web, iron it on the back of the edges.
  3. Make it bigger put the kids in it, and unlock the day after the show finishes. :cool2:

  6. Run!! Its the Fashion Police arrest of the year. On an originallity point, nort a PLASTIC Coke bottle, really jack letting the side down. Get a glass one at least. :nono:
  7. I'd suggest a good wash, rub off the worst rust and cover in rust killer /preserver.You can always re paint at a later date, you'll never get 65 years of patina back. Canavs, wash in Nikwax tech wash, much kinder than detergent, then treat with Nikwax Cotton proof. That will stop mildew , waterproof and moth treat.
  8. Come on in, pull up a Ferret and take a seat.
  9. The answer to most purchases for the military is the dreaded P word. Why by a twenty five year old knackered design Attack Helicopter that even it's home country are phasing out, when cheaper more efective modern designs with a lot of upgrade life were available? And as for the Chinook replacement argument! The British Army never used to be proud, if someone else had a good idea or pice of kit, we copied it, or nicked it!
  10. I've got two British 1944 date sand coloured ones. Funny enough, they came back last year from a Normandy Barn. :-D
  11. Funny enough I've just finished re-reading the Fisher book. Faction is a good description. There is no doubt that deception was used and that Whirling sparay attachemnts were used on searchlights to cause disoriantation of pilots flying over the Suez canal. I have been trying to track down the 'other members of the 'Magic Gang'. not much luck so far.
  12. Hey less of the old. She's still a pin up.:-D
