  1. Ron who owns the yard where I keep my Dodges, loves telling tales of haulage just after the war. He bought a 3 ton Dodge truck. No hours, no speed limit. Load it till it creacked and just go! Must have been bloody dangerous!
  2. Gel acid battries like the Odesey are less prone to that form of problem than the conventional type.
  3. I have an easy, though expensive answer to the 12 from 24 volt question. The Oddsey battries come with a seprate set of accesory outputs. You series two up but still have 12 volt take off from each battery.
  4. Why won't people give me things like that? Great looking machine, welcome along.
  5. It was a case of how good was your singing voice! :-D
  6. At least you wern't blinded by oncoming &*()))__ with the 'Look at me I've got foglights'. numpties.:-D
  7. Welcome Neil, nice little toy box you have.
  8. I got a 6 volt from Lincon for the WC54. Just phoned them told what I wanted it for, and they told me the specs. I was not dissapointed the battery has been very reliable. The Oddsey, I got mine from Gigglepin 4x4, but you can get them online from the company http://www.lincon.co.uk/ http://www.odysseybattery.com/
  9. I have just payed out for an Oddesey gel battery. The cost is eywatering, but the performance is way beyond any conventional battery. It is also ideal for a vehicle which has little use as providing there kept cool they hold charge for for years. I've found Lincon bateries to be a good supplier of conventional, just ring them and talk to them. Quick delivery competive prices and very knowladable. Battery is shipped dry with electrolyte seperate, so you get a completly fresh battery.
  10. Surley if it's insulated a 'Tank Suit'. Now there's a thought for a cold night! A Leopard clad Rosie on top of a tank! :nut:
  11. So with curent weather and the onsies. When is the Cubed starting on the Ark?
  12. So will you be having the second glass of Glen Morangi ?:nut: As for the 'onsie'. You can know to much about female fashion.
  13. I was wondering that! Where does a Lepoard sleep? Anywhere it wants! Number One son decided after much thought to by me a small 6lb to 45 lb torque wrench. Aparently he is fed up with the noise of the abuse when I shear small bolts.
  14. Merry Christmas and Peaceful Prosperous New year.
  15. Best wishes to you and family, keep well.
  16. Welcome Ade. Funny enough there was a Sugga around the London end of Kent a few months back.
  17. Bear in mind nort all vehicles bearing a Red Cross were ambulances. Any vehicle carrying medical supplies, personnel or specific lab equipment is entitled to the protection.
  18. Welcome Tom. From the Dodge side, not another Ferret!
