    Here are some quick pics, there is also a big shunt box behind the passenger front back rest fixed to the bulkhead, if there are any particular pics you want let me know.

    Opps left that bit out check the earthing in the head lamps first as this is what you have disturbed !! then go from there.

    If it is charging you should get about 13.8 volts at the battery can you check with multi meter ? Could be a bad earth, have you disturbed something or a bad connection in one of the headlamps and causing a back feed through the main beam ind light !!!!!!!!!! Only guessing though

    Yes the main loops on the helmet are still there can you supply the rest of the bits ?

    Yes does have sand in the paint, on the brown coloured strap which runs over your head front to back, on the other side of it there is a white label but all writing has faded away !!!! Could you supply the chin strap and buckles for it ?

    Can someone tell me any more about what and who would have used this helmet if possible, the join for the edge is at the back of the helmet.

    If you look at the pics on the e bay link there are a couple of pics of the t/fer box and the top lever just below the mounting cross member has a leaver in the same place as the GMC one, is this just for selecting a neutral position ?

    If you know what its off then, would you know what make the transfer box is as it looks very similar to a GMC Timken T/fer box.

    Would you say that the 10.5" tyres are right or would the wheels of had 9.00 x16 ? From the pic it seems the wheels stick out quite a lot from the rear drums is this common for these types of trucks ? would they be duals on there.

    Chassis tip to toe is 13' 10" has 10.5 x 16 tyres if thats any help

    No sorry I have not got the faintest idea of what it is :??? :??? :??? I believe the winch is original and in the correct place as the prop has not been cut and the winch mounts are riveted and the prop passes through a chassis cross member. I am surprised that some of you out there are not sure either. I will get some better pics and post soon might even get a chassis number !! Stay tuned.

    The front cross member looks very much like a GMC so the Chev link could be right, very interesting that it has foxed so many people here, keep guessing :cool2: Any pic of the full vehicle, CMP, or what you think it might be !!

    Does not have diff or half shafts, the front chassis cross member looks like GMC but the next one back is not ?? foxed me to but dont know my British trucks very well !!!

    See pics what do you think. Some said Bedford ? 4x4 with pto winch inside chassis rails at rear.Would like to know what it is.
