  3. Very nice reply in the letter. I was going to attend a local Poppy day collection in the truck tomorrow Sat, but we have some personal problems and we cant attend, so instead of putting fuel in the truck I am donating what I would have used in fuel to get there, to this cause........... So here is another £40 to go with the rest........................ Keep up the great work one and all.
  4. This one has lots of openings in all directions and the doorway seems to be below the openings by quite a bit....

  11. The Antar uses a Meteorite engine ? would the driven plate be the same as the Meteor. My one has an intermediate dive plate but cant get at it to measure. I am sure the clutch discs are about 18 inches if my memory serves me right..... I think.
  12. Thanks for the post. In the right hand pic it shows the diamond floor plate going almost right up to the bolt on angle support bracket, is this correct as I think my one is about 3 inches further in than your pic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Thanks for the post, only got as far as doing one side piece, the bit tacked to the top of the main base which runs up beside the seat box on each side, do really need some close pics of the front cab mountings by the main up rights to the windscreen, need to know which panels go under which bits and how it all goes together, so if anyone can post some pics it would be of great help. Also what are the sizes of the timber fitted between the cab mounting points and the chassis.
  14. Please help, need some pics of the front cab mountings in the floor of a dodge as the one I am welding up on this Sunday are both missing :shake: Joys of being blasted all the rust goes and the mounting positions. Need pics from in the cab looking down to where your feet would be and the edges where the floor meets the sides of the cab, also if poss some of the same places but from underneath the cab. Thanks in advance so I can get on and do it on Sunday

  16. So once it is set as a slave, the computer wont try and use the operating system which is installed on it  or will it still try and run it and mess up the computer ????
  17. Was up there a few weeks ago and in the south west corner of M4 westbound and A33 northbound outside the roundabout there is a pillbox down at the bottom of the embankments for the sliproads and there seems to be lots of roadworks around it, does anyone know the goings on with this.....
  18. similar to that but no replies to original posts, would have to be a locked forum, only to view or something like that but also carefully worded in the title to enable searching. More like a directory so you could search by company name or part of it, the service they provide, web address, ect and any one of those sorts of search would pull up all the information about the site, Comp name, web site, phone numbers, address e-mail, multi map map of where they are and also people who have used them what they did for them and what sort of service they got, bit like the feedback on e-bay...
  19. Did you do this or have I missed it ?
  20. Can't remember if this has been suggested, but what about a searchable directory on the forum of Web sites, Companies, people ect who have been used by and recommended due to price, quality ect. The services and what they do, the vehicles they are relevent to, links to their web site, address's and all other sorts of info. Not so much the big companies, as say listed on milweb, but more of the obscure ones such as knobs, buttons, types of fixings, brackets, wiring, brake piping, hose fittings/pipe ect, I am sure you all know what sort of thing I am on about.....
  21. Ahh is cable select when the ide ribbon cable has twists in some of the strands before one of the connectors.
  22. Have you ever got this involved under it as you are now, watch out for those HEAVY bits as well. Good luck with the pallet truck.
  23. Glad to see steady progress. Errr are you keeping detailed pics of where all the bits came from, hope so, good luck and keep going with the pics ect. Great disassembly blog.
  24. Ok so CS is Cable Select, what does that do then ? what is DS ?
  25. Sorry if this is out of place but I am after some technical help. Maxtor 40Gb hard drive which I need to use as a slave on an existing desk top pc where does the jumper position go as in the pics ?? Also if this is set as a slave will the XP opperating system on it effect the starting of the computer.............
