  5. Hi Jim thanks for the concern. After the first couple of times it has rained since I put it on, it has got steadily more and more water tight, to the point at which now even with the latest torrential down pours it does not leak one little bit. Well happy much better than the old holey roof... By the way what went wrong with your Sherman ? Tanks in Town was my first time there and I can't explain what its like, you just have to be there....... Shame you did not make it to T.I.T.'s would have been great to see 8 Sherman's in a row, where else would you see that......

  7. Yes quite right about the Weathershield great stuff use it a lot on the rear canvas, soon to do our BIG tent probably many many gallons, but am a little wary to do it to new canvas !!!! Thanks for all the input, will keep you all posted.

Yep I do that all the time anyway saves all the wear and tare on the joints, when you creep forwards and then backwards while turning the steering wheel, but if you are in a tight area the creeping backwards and forwards is not enough and you run out of room !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Going to try something at the weekend if it works I will post it up on HMVFTV.
  16. I have gone off having dual wheels on the front of my truck...................... The steering is VERY heavy, can't turn it at all when stationary, now have arms like Popeye but didn't eat the spinach also lost all the feeling in them as well !!!! As for following ribs in the road well I am not even going there.. Very interesting experience though you should all try it once, only once.

  22. Good bit of kit this, its a Shock wrench, large swingy handle thing locks on the bar then when spun the momentum of the weighted handles shocks the nuts un done or do up... All comes in a smart green metal box as well
