Hi Jack, Are you now back trying to sort this out ? did your mate look at it yet ? As in the Help my GMC is Broke or summat like that, have you checked any of the bits suggested or would you like me to come down at some stage and have a look?? Forget about the alternator at the moment, this will not stop the truck starting, get a good 12v battery biggest that will fit in the tray, and go for a reputable make Lucas exide etc, don't skimp on cost it will pay off in the long run, then try to start ? what happens ? (1) starter does nothing ? problem between bat and starter. (2) starter turns slowly ? as above or naff starter. (3) starter and engine spin over quick but will not fire ? ignition problem. Go with this and let us know.

Found the receipt the other day for the pipe I used. Copper Nickel 1/4" and 5/16" don't know about the nuts as I reused all the old ones suggest you give Rex Ward a try for them.

If it is going to be 5 days that would be great, if it is anything like 2007 it will be well attended. How about some evening entertainment, I have 2 of the tents you had up there last time so I am sure one of them could be put next to the other one to make a nice bit of covered tentage to have a bit of a do in !!!!!!!! If you are talking about the steel ones in the chassis rails there are 2 sizes. Bigger pipe from Master cylinder to Hydrovac. Then all the rest from Hydrovac to all flexible hose joints are slightly smaller, cant remember the sizes off the top of my head at the minute.
