A strange question but here goes, you have a farm and various fields all around, through which there is a disused train track and tunnel, been up for about 30 years, no track or sleepers, does the farmer have the right to use the ground where the track ran ? Added:- This is only a hypothetical discussion a few friends and myself had in a pub the other day ....

Shame this probably happened just before it was going to run out of fuel, trust Jack to get it the wrong way round :nut: If it run out of fuel first you would not be rebuilding the engine.......

So if it overheats when stationary try revving it to 2000 rpm ish to see if its an engine thing or weather it has to have the air speed rushing through the rad to cool it, also check the fins between the rad tubes these can some times fall out, become detached from the sides of the tubes, and they DO make a big difference to the performance of the rad.

I have gone and bought some snow chains for my GMC, 4 sets to cover the twin rear wheels and only one front wheel so 5 pieces in total, think they are 40Kg's to 50Kg's now they are located in Kettering Northamptonshire would there be some good people between there and Portsmouth on the south coast who would be willing to shuffle these down to me, you know pass them from one friend to another and hopefully work them down to me. What do you good people out there think :nut:

Wow what a can of worms, and I was just meaning the speed limits for cars and car derived vans and trucks, when I added the bit about DPV I did not think it would get this bad, well carry on good bits in this I did not know about the dual carriageway bit with the barrier or grass island :nut: -

Correct me if I am wrong but in this country we have different speed limits for vans and trucks, as opposed to ordinary cars, so on a single carriageway ( two way road ) the limit is 50 MPH, on a dual carriageway two lanes each way it is 60 MPH, and then on a motorway it is 70 MPH. So, to what vehicles do the above limits apply, I am referring to the morphing of cars in to car derived vans ect, also do MPV's and 4x4's come into this, and what is the reasoning behind these limits. Argue away !!!!

Hi sorry to high jack this a bit is the yellow Landy in the vid the one with the 2.8TD daihatsu in it if so it seems to pull well, what sort of weight did you have on and any idea of speed. I am just about to start one of these, bought a 4 door classic Range Rover with one in it and will soon be getting round to sticking it in a Series 3, tell me more..

How could you get an M12 bolt through that small tube welded to the bottom of the chassis rail, my Range Rovers I have had, I am sure you could only just get an M8 through which is what is used to hold the lashing eye on, I might be wrong, is there a weld on mod to be able to fit those Jate rings ?

Yes I believe that is correct, if the windscreen can be opened or folded down it does not matter if you have wipers or not. Also something about if the windscreen is lower than a certain height so more like a wind deflector on old open topped sports cars there is no requirement for wipers.

Would like to but they only go up to 512Mb as I have a 1Gb chip in one slot and I only have 3 slots would like 2 more to go with it.

I lived near it in Iver Heath when I was going to school, me and my friends use to ride our bikes through there as a short cut from Hillingdon, then there was a bomb explosion in the camp and it was all sealed off and guards posted. I have not been up there that end for many years !! -
As this is way off topic, thought it was best to put it here ... Wanted two 1Gb 168 pin pc133 dimm chips. Now I know there is probably lots on e-bay ect, but how about someones spare bits and bobs which are just lying about at home, call it reallocating.
