  1. You can find this and many other 60's/70's/80's TV series ( and earlier ) on networkonair . com , well worth a browse .
  2. ' VAT Information sheet 06/13 : notification of vehicle arrivals ' , there's a section on permanent imports by individuals and non VAT registered businesses and which you'll find on the Governments website
  3. have you tried Shiply ?
  4. some of these manuals are available online , before buying CD's I'd check to make sure that the information is not freely available elsewhere . certainly some of the TM9-1750 and TM9-1731 series manuals are available online
  5. As I can't see its been said already , thanks for posting the information ( along with the other links ) and no I'm not looking for an MT500 either ( got one ) .
  6. I have the vehicle record book for my Armstrong MT500 which came with the bike when I bought it direct back in the days of the MoD auctions , date in service May 1986 and painted Nato Green IRR ( from the record book )
  7. Have you tried Shiply ? might be worth a look if you haven't done so already and can't find anyone here that can help

  14. your British bayonets a bit earlier than WW1 I think - 1888 pattern bayonet for the Lee Metford
  15. The cruciform blade bayonet is I think an Italian M70 TS . The other one I think is a Turkish M 1903 incidentally the 4th bayonet down looks like a British 1907 to me

    Jeep Stolen

Have you tried neighbours along any access road and who may have had CCTV ? Obviously it helps if you know what day and time it was taken but a lot of people have security cameras these days. ..... for those untouched by car crime I was reading some interesting posts elsewhere the other day about GPS trackers , if I owned something as vulnerable as a Jeep I think I'd be considering one of these , magnetic so unlikely to damage your vehicle and apparently with up to 30 day battery life.
  17. thought the results were on the web site turns out they're the results for the militaria auction
  18. I was going to reply that years ago Grangers used to do a product called Mesowax which I thought was for canvas , but on looking on Google to see if it was still made this thread turned up in the search http://hmvf.co.uk/forumvb/showthread.php?5609-Canvas-restore Grangers have a website anyway if you wanted to see what product range they have
  19. If you go to Kivells own web site there's an auction report with some prices
  20. I'd ask the seller for the outside leg length , outseam, the length from the waist to the ankle . The last size 8 I parted with were 68 pattern DPM and had a waist of approx. 94cm inside leg 89cm and outside leg 126cm The last size 5 I parted with were 60 pattern DPM and had a waist of approx 88cm inside leg 78cm and outside leg 110cm It goes without saying that sizes can vary so don't rely on the above and ask any seller for the measurements
  21. If you're quick there's still time to bid on the Lancaster flight from Canada to the UK over on Ebay , item # 251519471501 ,
  22. thats one nice looking CET at 1:26 thanks for taking the time out for posting your video.
  23. Theres a fair few regiments incorporate this design in to their badge, one of which is the Kings ( Liverpool ) Regiment or rather certain battalions of, possibly 5th Bn and/or 8th Bn . As you say the plaque is in Blackpool, the Kings ( Liverpool ) Regiment has connections with Blackpool I believe.
  24. Thanks for taking the time out to post this
