  1. This trailer is just about to get 'weighed in' can you identify it and is it worth saving ?
  2. I was 'surfing the net' like you do on a wet Sunday afternoon and browsed apon this trailer, I've never seen one like it before. What do you know about them, are they British and if so who made them. Any more photos ? info, and does anyone on the forum own one ?
  3. I saw that episode of Upstairs Downstairs set in September/October 1939 thought the QL came out in 1940-41 ?

After a 3 month absence from working on my QL and a rare day off I thought it was time to make use of this lovely warm winter sun Went to our local specialist timber yard and had all the wood for the Tail Gate/rear cross member & front body frame machined up in Ash for £119 as a 'favour' should of been £195 for the wood & £55 machining charge. Every plank has been machined to same size/shape as the old bits including the T&G

  10. Hi Richard me too, I had a quote from them a few months ago but not got round to sending it off yet. I got my horn button 2 weeks ago from a chap that sold me a 10cwt trailer, I know of another horn button complete but he wont sell it to me yet !!!!
  11. Hi Richard my Bedford Steering wheel is most definitely green but the horn button I have just aquired is black. Who are you using to restore your wheel ?

  14. I was going to use something like this on my Bedford. With the chrome rim & body painted to match the vehicle you get a reliable period looking lamp but effective in todays driving conditions.

  18. Hi Richard thats exactly what I was looking for, I forgot to say it was a bonnet number for my 44GPW I was after. Is Black over Brown correct for a 1944 Jeep in RAF service or would it of been just green by then ? Can you tell me who made your stencils as they should have the correct size & font that I need, as for the number, why are they different on either side of the bonnet and what do they mean ? Thanks Ian

    And me to :mad: best thing to do is copy/paste every time (paypal claims aswell as they time out) then you dont loose the message and have to start again.
