  1. Welcome Peter. I know a Nick Hendricks - also in the Netherlands - any relation? Good luck in trading the WS52 for a Jeep... second person I know of doing this in a week - is there something wrong with having a WC52? Tim
  2. FOR SALE @ 700 GBP plus shipping. WS19 set WS19 PSU WS19 Variometer Control Box Cables Canvas Cover Any questions, more photos please PM me. Tim
  3. Can you update this with the URL to the FB page? Tim
  4. The location of this tank was known for years... But it took it being uncovered after a storm for someone to decide to haul it out. The scrap man recovered what he could and left the rest. Now it sits on the edge of Delta Beach / Nartelle Plage next to the roundabout. A pity someone couldnt graft an upper section back on to be a better memorial... What is there, whist original does not have a very big impact IMO... Though i suppose it is better than nothing. Tim
  5. Belonging to a Living History Association is considered to be a valid reason for having a Section 1 firearm... so, I'd assume that this implies it is also a valid reason for having a Realistic Imitation Firearm. My assumption - not based on factual evidence.
  6. Sounds like that DD Sherman "project" in India might be up your street if you have any contacts out there.. of course assuming the photo circulating is recent and the tank is still sitting in the middle of a field somewhere. Failing that something from the bottom of a fresh water lake in the UK is also an interesting prospect. Give Rick half a chance and he'll drain the lake for you ;-) Tim
  7. A load more from the same people by the looks of it... https://milinme.wordpress.com/category/charioteer/ No just Charioteer Tim
  8. Is this for HGVs or any vehicles over 3.5t (eg White Scout Car) Cheers Tim
  9. Today. M6 northbound around 8am between Rugby and Coventry exits... Canary Yellow Dodge weapons carrier on trailer... No idea type or vintage... Looks like an interesting restoration project for someone.... If yours... What is it?
  10. How far off the beach is this and what depth of water?
  11. It came from a friend's grandfather's collection - acquired many years ago, been stored away in a dry dark place ever since... hence the excellent condition. Am surprised we still had it on the stall when you came along - anyways... glad it's gone to a good home. Tim
  12. Mmm.... very nice picture... yes... more please! Must remember to add the wing mirror mount to mine when restored. Tim
  13. Looks very much like the Marker Panel kit I have - are there metal pins included as well and are the Panels reversible with White on the other side? Tim
  14. Interesting article... apologies if already posted... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/12056281/Thousands-of-guns-in-British-museums-could-be-mutilated-under-new-law-from-Brussels.html Tim
  15. Will that really make that much difference if hit by a rotating blade?
  16. Join MVT if you haven't already (will get you discount on insurance and better contact with other owners) - put wanted adverts into the Windscreen magazine... also wanted advert on Milweb (think this one feeds into Classic Military magazine). NB - If you go OYD, make sure you get one where the cab does not have the gun ring cut through over the passenger's seat as recall this modification came along after 1940. Tim
  17. Dan Bedford MW aero screen version would be my choice. Correct for Dunkirk / Early war Fits in Garage Parts available - same major mechanicals as QL and OY less than 3 tonne - makes recovery easier if necessary Local (to you) MVT members have a lot of Bedford ww2 vehicle knowledge. Tim
  18. Welcome. What's your thing - WW1, WW2, Korea, Gulf etc... Tim
  19. Chris Assumed likely 50s - have to think about what to do with it next as is a bit modern for my tastes. Cheers Tim
  20. Chris Other than the PSU which appears to have been replaced post-rebuild, would I be correct to assume that the rest of this installation is exclusively used in/with 1950s vintage vehicles? I also have a canvas cover which goes over the whole thing and is of a similar 50s date. Cheers Tim
  21. I know what it is... Question is... In this configuration, on a demountable board... What vehicle would have used this. Rebuild date is 1957. Thanks. Tim
