    I met a fella at w+p a few years back who had a willys, he had a peugeot diesel fitted and people were queing up to buy it! Your motor mark, yours to do what you want with it. Just don't paint it pink!!

    I use self tapping screws, fit my military plates when I go to a show and then unscrew and re fit civvie plates.

    TBH, if you have a ww2 vehcile and wear a ww2 uniform, I can't see people thinking that your monty!! Just make sure what you wear is correct, however, 'correct' is a bag of worms..........
