  3. Use good quality tools, have plenty of clean rags, take your time, and most important of all, enjoy the experience!
  4. Just been on w+p website and the red arrows are doing a full display this year, looking foward to it!!:-D
  5. Make friends with your local car paint supplier, I use brooks in harold hill, I use satin synthectic with excellent results. I painted my engine with ordinary car paint with brilliant results.
  6. The costs must be huge as well as the stress  I just don't agree with having to pay to spend my money. Even car boot sales charge an entry fee now!:-(
  7. Agreed lee, however, ther are 1000's of shops in every high street up and down the country who have to pay standing costs everyday.
  8. Agreed lee, however, tescos is a business venture, can you imagine having to pay to get into tescos!:-( 200 stalls at £50 a pop is alot of money for the organisers. Maybe its just me, i'm getting old:shocked::-D
  9. Looks like a good event, it just gripes me having to pay to get in to spend my money:-(

  14. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
  15. I use synthetic as well, buy mine from local paint supplier, I use a gloss roller!:-)
  16. A very emotive subject that I was talking about today with my dad. I don't mind paying to enter a mv show if the entry is just to cover costs and is not a profit making show. If, for example a show was started were there was an entry fee charged and ALL profit went to a military charity, I would be quite happy to pay. The main thing I disagree with is militaria fairs charging an entry fee to spend your money! Imagine tesco charging you to shop there
  17. Shame about the drive out to wooton basset, but it's still going to be a great weekend! I'm sure we can fill up saturday with the driving skills course, it's going to be fun!
