  1. My mums comming up for christmas, christmas day it will be, me,mum,2 sisters and my niece. Can't drink though, 1 of my sisters is a nurse in ITU at southend hospital and she starts work at 12 midday and i'm driving her there. Boxing day I'm off to see me dad and give him his rather nice prezzie I got him today, can't say what it is in case he reads this;) Sorry dad, I did try to get the DB4, but it was sold!
  2. I use the cafe in paddock wood high street, grubs spot on! Off an evening its take away or into town for an indian and also the onsite pub does a pukka bbq fri and sat night. Don't do any cooking at shows, the way I look at it is i'm on holiday!
  3. What's your overall impression of your RB44? pleased with it? How do you find it on the motorway?
  4. Thawing in billericay, but back roads still icey!
  5. Nice pics. Did the landys have rad muffs as standard in norway?
  6. Loads here in billericay. A few piccies;
  7. The sixth sense, with bruce willis.
  8. That's a good idea with the 12x12 frame as a make shift garage.
  9. I can remember them advertising in exchange and mart!
  10. I thought the same thing lee, but apperently, they don't sort out work experience anymore:-|
  11. Anyone on here work for customs? My niece is studying travel and tourisim at college and wants to be a customs officer. I'm trying to find out if she can spend a couple of days at tilbury to get a feel for the job.
  12. I could be interested in this show as I thought i'd try some different shows next year. Ive just checked my dairy and i'm off that weekend:D Are there going to be stalls/re enactments etc etc?
  13. I had a look at a comms body one at the imps show this year. The owner had converted it to a camper, but I thought it was very small inside. If your looking to convert to a camper, i'd stick with a soft top model, which is what i'm thinking of doing.
  14. Cheers chaps! Gonna get a few of the boys round to help dig the hole and cook 'em sunday dinner.
  15. I prefer strictly and BGT.
  16. The drive where I live is stone/shingle, and it's a nightmare for working on the landy. It has hard packed dirt under stone /shingle. What I was thinking of doing is digging a hole 6 inches deep by 12 ft long and 8ft wide and concreteing it. How much concrete do you think i'll need and will it be deep enough to support the wieght of a 110 landy?
  17. If your going to buy a seris and put a diesel in, I would go for the 2.5 normally aspiarated land rover diesel. It's a straight swap and a good strong engine.
  18. Stick with a pertol, diesels are sloooow. Check the chassis and make sure 4wd works. Other than that they are easy to work on and easy to get parts for.
  19. I moved in with my sister a few months back who has a very nice house. I have my own lounge and fully tilled bathroom. In the bathroom I have a bidet(b-day) which I never use. But I finally found a use for it! Sis wasn't to pleased though.......
  20. Over the years I have found the best way to paint canvas is with plenty of light thin coats.
  21. Ive noticed alot of RB44 stuff has popped up on ebay. I'm waiting for withams to publish the tender result for 31 august.
  22. AS its a SHEMAN, I reckon it's in thailand jack!
