A few more; A spitfire currently under going restoration, another one saved:D We were very priviledged to have the BBMF lancaster and 2 spitfires with us all weekend at the airfield. They flew both days and put on a fantastic display. Overall, an extremly enjoyable weekend.

Me and a couple of the boys went to this show at kemble air field. A very good time was had by all. Excellent site, friendly marshalls and a fantastic pub just down the road. Some piccys; All set up;

Must admit, i'm not a fan of underseal, water seems to get behind it and then the rust starts. When I 1st buy an mv, I go to the local commercial steam cleaners and have the underneath steam cleaned, I then scrape off any remaining underseal by hand. I then paint/spray the underside with standard black gloss, b&q/homebase etc etc. I find black gloss stops the mud sticking to it. I then pressure was the underneath about 5-6 times a year to keep and mud/dirt at bay. Of all the landy's ive owned, I have only had to weld 1, and that needed welding when I bought it. Thats what works for me.

A brilliant weekend. At our camp site we had a great mess tent set up to eat our meals in and socialise. Chef ives provided superb food for the weekend and it was lovely waking up to a cooked breakfast. BIG thank you to tony and pete for a great weekend. May the force be with you yoda!!!!
