    More; Some wierd bloke we bumped into.................. The matador and a champ from our group at the mueeum; Tony's(or maybe petes!) gun display went down very well; Not seen one of theses before, RB44 fire tender; My dad and bob decieded to have a go on the shooting simulator, I joined in as well and promptly won. My dad blamed the sights on the .303 for his bad shooting!!!:wow:

    Arrived on site about 10.30am and found chef ives all set up with tea waiting! Tony, pete and yogi arrived a bit later and we all sat down for tea and a natter. A nice snatch owned by colin from c+s tat;

    For those of you who have not stayed at the new site, don't worry, we were there last year and it's perfect. No worries about security, and there is a pub just at the end of the field:D

    Just got back. Brilliant show. Weather held and was nice and sunny. Loads of people and mv's there. Great beer tent sat night with good DJ. Toilets and showers were spot on. A really good show. Well done IMPS.

    And some more; Am pleased to report toilets were excellent, one of these in every toilet; My only gripe? £1.80 for a cup of tea!!, complete disgrace!!!!

    My dad and I went down there today and had a great time. Spitfire, sally B and 2 mustangs flew over!! Alot more there this year than last year. some piccies;

    Try a local hgv sheet supplier, it might work out cheaper/better having one made rather than doing it yourself.

    This show is on the 10/11 sept and is suppotred by the mvt, details on there website. Could be a good show to end the season on.

    Ive got a set of these and can't reccomend them enough!! One of those tools you may not use for ages, but will be glad you bought them.

    Bought a 12x12 complete roof and sides for £20, which I used to make a flysheet and groundsheet, and sold the surplus for £10:D My dad bought a set of 7.50x16 on combat rims for £80 and sold his old wheels for £30.

    Ive said it before, the worlds largest military vehcile show and yet we have to pay and re enactors don't........... We had a big plot, but when we found out a few off our group were not comming, we shrunk the plot and some dutch moved in next to us. I agree with if your not there by wednesday, you lose your spot. However, there is still loads of room at w+p.

    Nicely put paul. The problem is not with the german army, it's with the SS. I have no problem with german army reenactors, it's the re enactors who wear SS stuff. Shows ban SS uniform, but don't enforce it.

    I did'nt see withams this year. Anyone know why? Must admit, I don't blame people for booking in ghost vehciles, as the cost for public camping is very expensive, IMO. Caravans?, well I do understand why people take caravans, comfort, warmth, etc etc, but they should cover them, avis was selling 12x12 tent middles for £20 this year, easy enough to cover a caravan. Maybe civvie tents/caravans should be allocated to a seperate field?

    My understanding is that SS uniform is banned at w+p. So why is it not enforced?

    Just got back after 9 enjoyable days. A very deffinate decrease in the 'yob' element this year. Toilets were the best I have seen for a long time, but I think this is due to the fact that loads of people hire thier own for the show, we were camped in the americas field and I would say at least half the people there had thier own toilet. Had a shower every day and did not queue once!! The medway meadow was the busiest I have ever seen it.

    Been here since saturday and today was the driest day!! Seen lee, helipops and chris g. A few nutters driving badly but, I did see a marshall have a quiet word with a couple of kids on motorbikes.
