  1. Mark, It is also worth checking that the rear idler arm is free to move over its full range of travel, they can become stiff and we had one which wouldn't move back down when trying to release the track tension. You can pump some grease in and exercise it if necessary. Chris

  12. That does sound a bit high. The photo shows the cable, on our Spartan it was loose when we got it and a bit frayed. I have put a new one on now. Chris
  13. Tim, You can adjust the idle speed by tensioning the throttle cable. Try disconnecting it from the accelerator pedal and see if the engine speed drops. It should idle at around 650rpm, if it's too high you can adjust the cable at either end. Chris
